I think you guys might be mistaken words, ANYONE who loves and RESPECTS the forest is an environmentalist, the "enviros" mentioned here should be called Anti-Access or exclusionists. If your talking about the ones who want no one in the woods... Well said grasshopper..!..

And as far as posting the word "enviros" I dont think anyone on here meant it in a negative way but just trying to shorten up on typing out the whole word Environmentalist. I could be wrong! lol, I use the term "Greeny" No harm intended it's just the way I word it. I'm not politically correct, never have been, never will be, however tend to get along with most. When I posted "It doesn't have to be just the jeep clubs" I never intended it to mean "Oh, we can let the greenies in too" lol. I said that because I'm not in to the whole club scene. Even though my main interest in life is 4x4 vehicles, I'm an individual and don't do the whole "club thing". Playing in Wharton from the day i was born has brought my level of interest way beyond just 4x4 use. I would still be back there more than most even if an old sand quarry opened up. Not sure if i have convinced anyone else of my love for the woods beyond 4x4 use nor am I here to convince anyone

Not being one to be offended by a word, you can call me anything you like as long as the mission is accomplished. Growing up in the pines and being 1/2 japanese I would tell people I was Japineys,But what do you call a lifelong 4x4 enthusiast and member of PPA and NJCF?

That certainly depends on your views of other users of the forest and their rights to enjoy them as they would in a reasonable and responsible manner. If all you want is to let people drive their cars and such down the very few "right of way roads" within the forest and close down all other dirt roads and trials, then in many eyes you would fall into the anti-access category. Now I am not labeling you as such, so please do not take it that way, nor am I trying to get a rise out of you either. There are many reasonable people in the PPA and NJCF not all of them want to shut the woods down to only foot traffic.. Better add this too.... ;D

On a day like today or when the temperature is near 100 I prefer to drive as close to the area I am going. As long as there's no harm to the forest I see no harm in driving down smaller roads that have probably been there for decades.I am only a member of PPA and NJCF but I have never heard of any plans to shut down access to the woods.

I would like to meet some of them, because I've been in the environmental "trade" for about 20 years, and I haven't met any yet.
