That is outstanding! Maybe we should send this to all the newspapers that couldn't manage to get a reporter out.

Anybody got a list of all the news agencies that were notified about this? And what's the date for the 2011 cleanup? I think we can make the 10th annual cleanup the biggest ever, and also the best-covered news item of the day.

I can get that list for you, I spoke to the organizer a few hours ago and unbelievably that is exactly what I told him I would do... I would want to check with him first about sending it out to all the news outlets.

Mike was talking about having a meeting at his place in the next few months to figure out how we are going to set up next year. It is going to be HUGE!!!!! Looking at being better organized and figuring out the media aspect. I have some connections at a couple of the aboved mentioned media outlets. I WILL get them out next year. I was actually thinking of doing a quick write up from our viewpoint and sending it to a couple of them. At the next meeting (let's throw it on the agenda) we should discuss how we want to approach them from two directions. Them not showing up last year and getting them to show up next year. Yiu can bet that if we were out there tearing s*** up, it would be all over the media.

We hope to see you next year for the 10th Annual!

Is there an NJTLC email adrress? May make an impact as they had no interest in hearing from OHV users.and give this group a little exposure. But we need to be sure we don't take the focus off of the event and remember it is primuraly an OHV event

But we need to be sure we don't take the focus off of the event and remember it is primuraly an OHV event That's a good point! I would be happy to handle mail, at least during this initial stage. We can use my home address. Gipsie, do we have all the email addresses for all the founding members? If so, maybe folks would be comfortable with an email exchange to see if the group is agreeable to this, at least for now.

I would think all correspondence would go to the secretary ?? You might also use a Google or other such group that will distribute all email to set persons. Or check with Tom there may be embedded emails here that he can set-up. Actually I am pretty sure there is.
