Seems like a good thing to me. We ought to make a list of all the organizations that have given us a stamp of approval.

What role did they play in forming this organization?

I was a PPA employee when I first started coordinating with the Jeep clubs.

Russ Shouldn't that be when the Jeep clubs started coordinating with you? From what I remember the Jeep clubs contacted you. And the NJTLC wasn't started until after you left the PPA.

Seems to me that the PPA is taking credit for something they didn't do. That Facebook post should have be worded differently, such as "support NJTLC" or "join NJTLC".

I won't quibble with you, but the meaning is the same whichever way you say it. I didn't mean to imply anything except that we began to coordinate with each other. And I have never failed to inform people that the Jeep clubs were the stars of the show. Unlike PPA, which can only claim to have "played a role."

Is the glass half full or half empty? Are we happy that PPA endorsed us on its Facebook page? Or are we resentful that maybe they claimed too much credit by saying they "played a role."

Endorsing and playing a role are far different. It would not be the first time they grandstanded as “playing a role”, in a statement by JR of PPA she said… “The joint cooperation among the elected officials and conservation groups for the past two years has pushed the ORV community to create a non-profit organization, per our collective recommendation, that has access to state motorized recreation money for creating an ORV facility. Recently, this ORV non-profit group was awarded over $1 million dollars to purchase land for a facility in South Jersey. The ORV riders have the opportunity to receive $300,000 yearly for trail creation and maintenance.” Link… See page 5 www.pinelandsalliance.org/downloads/pinelandsalliance_219.pdf"opinions and those expressed are strictly determined by my own beliefs and assumptions and are no way considered factual in any way..... "the meaning is the same whichever way you say it" is not correct. When PPA makes a statement saying they are pleased to announce that they played a role in forming NJTLC it has a different meaning then if they stated they are pleased to announce that the are supporting (or joining) NJTLC. One implies being on board from the beginning the other implies they came later. It's good that to have many organizations on board with us I don't disagree with that.

I love the enthusiasm! The sooner we start working together and stop focusing on the distractions the better. Lets show them how we are going to lead the way with our own good works. Its the only way the State is going to take us seriously.
