The way I interpeted the PPA's statement is that they "played a roll" in putting together the NJTLC. How?
Secondly, if the PPA wants affiliation within NJTLC, then this affiliation should be open to other user group associations and clubs. Horseback, Jeep, Mountainbike, Enduro clubs, etc.
Or we can just have no affiliations and save ourselves the argument.

Affiliation should be granted to "recreational type" groups as this is what this is about before an "oversite/lobbyist" group is considered.

That's an even better idea!

I think that most groups are actually both recreational and oversite/lobbyist. Any group that wants affiliation should be given consideration when they apply.

Earlier in this thread, I mentioned that I was a PPA employee during the formative stages of NJTLC. PPA supported the creation of NJTLC and allowed me to invest PPA time in that project. As for affiliations in general, we should review what the bylaws say about the matter. If they are unclear, then let's see if we can clear up whatever needs to be cleared up!

And that was the extent of it..don't think that qualifies as having a part in forming NJTLC

I would love to review the bylaws. Where can they be found?
