So far this starts out with information about the club flyer we are starting. Possibly a colored page 6x9 double sided handout. And maybe some colorful business cards listing the web, forum, etc.

Here is some intial text as an example and when I figure out how to add a graphic, I'll show examples.

Organization Purpose:
This organization was founded to:

• Operating without profit, be nonpartisan, and nonsectarian.
  
• Developing and maintaining a spirit of cooperation, courtesy, and consideration among all the people of diverse recreational interests in New Jersey, via a membership that reflect a wide variety of outdoor recreational interests, meeting with agencies, and seeking constructive resolutions to issues.
  
• Promoting an ethic of guardianship for the open spaces of New Jersey, through conservation, volunteer activities, educational ventures, responsible vehicle use, and helping authorities.

Bulletin Board Message Forum:
The purpose of this forum is to organize the efforts of clubs to keep New Jersey public land open to all legal users. To stop the destruction of sensitive and protected areas. Including but not limited to Off-Road, Enduro, Equestrian, Geo-caching, Hiking, Kayaking and Hunting clubs.

Organization Meetings:
Meetings are held monthly on the third wednesday (see website for schedule and location)

Pictures and Graphics:
Some of the before and after pics are a nice affect like from the website. A picture equals a thousand words...

Do you have a printing company for this? I paid 200 for 1000 double side glossy print 5x7s on thick stock for my races.

Tom... ? Nice idea, but premature on the content. Business cards would be appropriate, as they'd be listing only what's already set. But I'd like to see this group gel a bit more before putting out what is basically a missions statement that hasn't been voted on yet.

(Example: I need to question if this effort is being limited to "clubs.")

Nan, I agree. For those of you that know me with geocaching, it may take me awhile. LOL

Yes on the statements and all that. I working on a couple of formats for trifold brochures and we can update change the text at will.

The cards first are a nice idea!!!!!!!!!!! and you are right about being able to do them first. I'll work that part in.

I worked on a trifold brochure that looked good on the screen Friday but not so good on the printed page. So I went to the half sheet 5.5x8.5 format that would be printed on both sides.

You know a nice touch might also show an area impacted by use or with trash dumped as a before and a cleaned up or maintained area as an after photo showing the work done by a unified front. A positive message opposed to a negative one... just my 2 cents..

Tom, sorry for forgetting the cards I had printed out last year for my race. I could possibly meet with you another time if you'd like to view them and the cost.

No biggie. We are still figuring it out. We'll start with something light, like the business card format or such.

I would like to seem them.

Now that we settled name and such we have some official text to use.
