I just wanted to say thanks to all that turned out last night. You guys were great! It may not seem like it due to the fact that we are not actually starting any projects right away, but we got a ton of stuff accomplished!!! Thanks to all of you, we are now an organization with a true name and a set of bylaws.
Kevin, no worries. I will be working on the minutes today and tomorrow and will post them here. The bottom section of the main board has a special section entitled "Minutes" and I am committed to keepig them as up to date as possible. And either Russ or I will post the adopted bylaws after the amendments are made.
Again, thanks to all who came out in the cold., you guys rock!

I planned to be there but things just did not work out last night. It was my wife final exam at school and my son had his Holiday concert. I love the woods but love my kids more and can't replace those times as they will never come again.

Mike, we had 26 attendees and a majority of the founding members. There were representatives from a decent amount of groups there. We adopted the bylaws and the name. And made some other decisions.
I will be posting the minutes later today or tomorrow. Keep your eyes open...

All in all I believe last night was productive. It may have not been exactly what alot of people wanted to sit through, but the sooner we get this stuff done, the sooner we get on the important/fun subjects

Likewise, It was nice meeting folks at the meeting. Kudos`to gipsie for taking on a lot of work and to Russ and the founders for doing what should have been done in NJ years ago. It was also nice to put a face to a name (Russ) since he and I have been going back and forth for the better part of ?? I don't know 10 years??
I certainly wont be making all the meetings since it`s a ride but will help where I can. It seems there`s a lot of good people trying to do good things, so I salute you all......

JP, your input was extremely helpful and it is great to have you on board....
I appreciate all your comments, but seriously, JP is correct in saying that this is something that needed to be done years ago, so we have a lot of work to do to catch up. This is something extremely important to me and I am in at full throttle.
