I don't know about yall but the second location our group headed to was incredibly bad. We took out a 12x8 landscaping trailer full and 8 foot bed full of stuff and that was only half of a pile out of the multiple piles of crap located out there. This is a recently aquired section of Wharton that hasn't had much attention over the years off of Dirt Jackson in Medford. It is the same area that I have highlighted in a previous post with gps coords and sattelite imagery. This small area alone could probably fill a 30 cu yd dumpster. I want to know if there are other areas that haven't been completed. I plan on getting at least one dumpster depending on others feedback to finish up what we started. I plan on getting this dumpster next month (November). I found someone willing to give up dumpsters at $60 a peice so if we all pitched in a few bucks it will be dirt cheap. Worst come the worst I will cover it myself. I just want to finish this up. Maybe 20-30 people tops would be all thats needed in this area so we arent getting in each others way. Maybe it can be our first event as an organization.
So who would be able to help?
Who would pitch in 5-10$
anyone got additional areas.

I'm waiting to hear back from my dumpster fellow. I'm thinking saturday the 20th or sunday the 21st. I'm trying to do this as strictly a Wharton based thing as a follow up. I can't believe the amount of feedback I have gotten with the very little bit I have spoken about this. Almost everything others are talking about is in the old hidden lakes area of Greenwood and also in Lacey township. I have no problem doing other ones at other times but this one I just want to finish up what we started. One thing at a time lol.

My supposed dumpster hook up who originally stated $60ish suddenly went up to $575. I don't have this kind of cash and was hoping to get to this before the leaves fell 100% and also before the freeze. May have to wait until spring. I was out this passed Thurs,Fri and sat cleaning up a section of woods in Atco I still have a few days left to finish that up if anyone wants to help.

Dave, I would contact any haulers that are in the area and explain what it is you want to do and see if they would be willing to donate or discount for the cause, you may be able to have them do a little advertising by way of sign or similar but first clear it with park.. |
