Memorial Day my son and I drove out to Batso Village and unloaded our bikes out of my truck, after we obtained the trail map in the visitor’s center we headed out for a ride on the marked trail system there. We took the shortest trail (Green trail) that is 6.2 miles. It was so hot I think the Jersey Devil was swimming in Basto Lake at the time. If you mountain bike and have not been there, the system is very nice and the trails are very enjoyable. The main loops can be interconnected with some marked connector trails to create a couple different loops of extra lengths or you can hit the 18 mile loop... Ran into Terry inside the center after we were done, my son wanted a Wharton SF sticker to remember his first "real" mountain bike ride and we checked out the museum to cool off abit before the ride home.

Yeah man. It is very nice. The first mile of that trail is a bit like a loop-de-loop and I was able to work it ok with the skinny tires on my hybrid.
How did you do tick wise?
