The Tabernacle Recreation Committee is holding a Volunteer Day on Saturday June 11th at the Elementary School on New Rd. from 10am to 2pm. This would be a good opportunity to do the booth and literature thing and they will also have room for a demonstration area. Might be cool to have a great trail vehicle and a few enduro bikes on hand? I'll coordinate this if everyone likes the idea... Please let me know your thoughts. Might be too soon for the printed materials unless we really get that in gear fast. If not, I'll need some Tread Lightly stuff... Kenny?
Also, the Tabernacle Recreation Committee will be showing "Flying With Emilio" some time this week as a means of highlighting the annual ceremony at the Carranza Memorial. By the way, the ceremony (sponsored by the Mt Holly American Legion) will be held on July 9th at 1pm, rain or shine. I'll follow up with information about the screening as soon as I have it.

I'm trying to get off from work to bring out my Jeep! On volunteer day. It would be good to explain too people how a modified vehicle a lot of times has less impact on the trails! How you don't have too make go arounds or spin tire to get through a wet area on the trail!

Yes, we're definitely in for this event. I need to coordinate with the Tabernacle Rec. Committee about where they would like us: indoors vs. outdoors. So I'm not sure about what kind of set-up we'll want to have. I'll speak with the person running the event tonight and will reach out to those of you that have offered to help. Again, the event is next Saturday, June 11th, 10 to 2 at the Tabernacle Elementary School on New Rd.

Tom I will definitely be there with my Jeep! I will also display my C.E.R.T. stuff! Most of you don't know but my club has a Citizen Emergency Response Team. To help search for lost hikers or anyone that may get lost in the forest. We are equipped to go places normal emergency vehicles can't get to!

That sounds perfect. Have you spoken with Joe at all? He had volunteered to bring a jeep as well. We also have a brand new Suzuki to display from Mt Holly KTM/Kawasaki/Suzuki!

One more thing for Saturday... Does anyone have a pop-up we could use? The weather looks a bit dicey. Please send me a PM or email if you can supply a tent, thanks.
