Erin posted this on the vernal pool thread and I think it is a wonderful idea that deserves its own thread. This is an excellent opportunity to learn! (I am going to post this on the pine barrens forum as well!) Thanks Erin! If anyone is interested in working to help preserve the land surrounding vernal pools this spring, the South Jersey Land and Water Trust will be training volunteers to search for habitat hotspots on April 6, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm at the Upper Deerfield Municipal Bldg in Cumberland County ((1325 State Highway 77 (856) 451-3811)).
