It makes me not want to drive in the pines after reading stuff like that. I don't like hearing more fines, more police etc etc. I drive/hike/kayak/ camp in the pines to get away from a police state. More and more I feel like I'm not really getting away from anything while in the woods. JMO
It's funny they have increased the fines and blocked access for years, this is not a new idea. Has it really worked?
It is nice to see the group mentioned!

In point 7. Are they saying that roads need to be closed when they have water on them. That doesn't leave much open after a rain storm.

if they cant maintain roads now , i highly doubt there gonna block roads off after every single times it rains , that seems a bit extreme , they used to maintain the main roadways and now they dont , just normal driving tears em up and when there is water is just keeps pushing the soil away causing a hole that gets deeper and deeper , i remember years ago id pass thru there and always see machine out filling and leveling the holes , a bit of the problem too is people in normal cars that go and get stuck in the sand and leave a huge hole when the finally get out , those holes grow and grow and when there never filled in it causes a problem and the 4x4 guys get blamed for it
