... As always I get the answering machine, I left a message as I have done in the past and recieved no call back just as usual. How are we supposed to accomplish anything as individuals or as a whole if the Park Police just blow you off? I'm at the point now to where if I see someone heading into the woods with a bed full of trash or underbrush that I have no option but to follow this person until I see them leave the woods and while I'm at it take down there plate number to bypass the Park Police and go straight to the DEP. It's sad when I can get my balls busted for a cracked windsheild that doesnt obstruct my view, but someone obviously dumping can xcontinue on his merry way. I have opened a new thread to document this sort of thing. Once we build up a list of cases, we can present it to the state park police and ask them what action they took in each case. But just a word of caution...just because you don't hear back from them, that doesn't necessarily mean they blew it off. It's possible that they did take appropriate action! It may not be practical for them to report back to every citizen who reports a violation.

I was up at apple pie hill yesterday, came up to the tower and there was a jeep crazy lifted on 44 in boggers. no tilt test inspection sticker. forgot to get his lisense plate but as he went on his merry way i could here him from a couple hundred yards away tearing up one of the water holes on the main trail. as I left apple pie hill I had to go in the water hole and almost got stuck. its people like this that aggravate me. he said he has been riding these trails for years and never got a ticket for not having tilt test done. If park rangers arent going to strap down on state laws like tilt test we are going to lose the battle of keeping wharton open

Evidently we need to keep documenting this kind of stuff. But we also need to call it in and take tag numbers.
