Hello All.
There are some new things kicking-in this January. And will come up at the meeting. Russ will provide the final agenda before the meeting, but some of the things (and more) we are looking at are shown below.
Russ is working into the meeting agenda, the formation of a Project Committee. This is great news and now we can start getting engaged on projects and have a process. The process may go something like this preliminary thought:
1. Individual member creates (writes up) a project proposal and submits it to the project committee.
2. Project committee reviews and coordinates with the member to be sure all pertinent details are covered.
3. Project committee recommends either for or against the proposal at a regular meeting.
4. If proposal is approved by governing committee, appropriate liaison person coordinates with appropriate land manager.
5. If land manager gives the green light, project goes forward.
Projects and subcommittees as needed.
------------------
An expanded map of sensitive or damaged or areas in question. Mudboy, do you have a map already started?
------------------
Before and After Photo and record keeping. This could be part of the Project Committee to gather and publish more of this info. We could use it in our flyers and geocaches and website.
-----------------
Publicity Committee. This could be to help direct how we wish to distribute and promote information about the group or certain projects.
--------------
Also we need to provide a meeting date list to the Red Lion Inn and contact them a few days before the meeting to ensure we have the place and they know we are coming.
-----------
There are many upcoming things to get involved in and more we haven't thought of yet. Everyone is an important member and participant in the club and efforts.
So, just letting you know things are happening. We'll keep you updated.
