Has anyone heard about it? I hear it's happening and in Trenton now.

Is this in reference to what we talked about a while back, or something different?

Is this in reference to what we talked about a while back, or something different? as far as I know at the moment it's in trenton for approval to start mapping. No actual mapping has occured yet, at least from what was publicly announced.

If you want a good map, Burlington County published one last year. They drove every road in the county (including the woods) with GPS tracking gear. The rumor is that the SF is not real happy about it and made them include a disclaimer (something about not all the roads on public lands being open and/or passable and asking local authorities) but it's a very accurate and detailed map.

It's my understanding that Auermuller was working on his own 'travel management plan' as a high priority project and that includes mapping/numbering of roads and firecuts.
I spoke to the intern that they had running gps on all the firecuts. I believe the firecut portion of that project was completed this past fall. I'm not sure what other elements and data is going into the plan and I'm not aware of any formal way of getting details on the process.
I am very concerned that the process has been kept so quiet and that there doesn't seem to be any opportunities for public input?

It's not gonna be a good outcome if it stays that way. It will punish those who respect the land and those who could care less are still gonna go about their way.
