The NJTLC is going to participate in the cleanup this weekend. Since many of our members will already be working on behalf of their jeep clubs, we need volunteers from the other user groups (Enduro, Equestrian, Hikers...) to represent us. We'll be meeting at the Atsion Ranger Station at 9 am on Sunday morning (10/23).
For more information about the event, please look in the Environmental Events thread. One important note is that there will be a toy drive for holiday gifts for local underprivileged kids, so bring new toys to donate!

I'm not involved in any jeep clubs either , that's kinda why I asked to talk about that at tonight's meeting in my post a couple weeks ago

Those of us whom are not affiliated with a jeep club will be meeting at the Atsion Ranger Station at 9 am on sunday 10/23. Look for the green NJTLC banner! Once we have an idea how many of us there are and what type of vehicles we have, we can make a plan and get to work. I hope to have some Enduro folks helping as well.

Great day and awesome weather for the cleanup! I was really impressed by everyone's effort. I know our small group alone pulled in 4 pickups FULL of litter and debris - and at least two of those trucks were riding on the bump stops! And we simply putted down Raritan tossing litter into the truck beds... I think it was the first time my truck has ever idled forward in low range/1st gear for 4 hours straight with barely a blip of the throttle (i think the 360ci might get better mileage that way lol)
Awesome job and a big thank you to the organizers. I wish I could have stayed for the after party, but I had to be in Philadelphia by 3pm for dinner with the new in-laws.
See you guys in the woods...

Thanks everybody! NJTLC had many members involved in this event and we dragged a lot of garbage out of Wharton. I'd especially like to thank South Jersey Enduro Riders who filled about half of one of the dumpsters on their own. It's great to see this effort spreading beyond just the 4WD community.
Thank you to all the organizers as well. Nice job folks.

I had to bug out early too, but not before I took care of the area designated to me. Thanks again to the staff at the campground I was staying at. The allowed me to throw 25 or so large bags of garbage in their dumpster.
