Muck, If you are on Quaker Bridge headed from 206 to Batsto, you cross the bridge and make the hard left along the river. This is Pushline road, it takes you past the entrance for Lower Forge Camp and continues out to High Crossing Rd/ Carranza. There are several turns off to the left that go to 1/4 and the rights go towards Jemimah and Mount. I'd post a map link, but I'm not great at it ;D

Nick or Muck,
Forgive me if I seem a little thick on this one ;D but by the outline, are High Crossing Road, Mine Spung Road and Tuckerton off limits or just bordering the off limits area? Also, unless its me, I can't zoom the map in or out or move it at all? J

J just the inner boundries (inside the red) of those roads are off limits , with the exception of the road to the far left of the map that runs behind lower forge , that one road is totally off limits to motor vehicles , you cant move or zoom this map i did it as a screen shot so its just a picture of a map lol

gotcha on the screenshot! If I recall, the road you mention has always been NMV. Its the one that actually goes out to Lower Forge Camp, right? or am I thinking wrong? Is it the road I found the second set of spikes on? that leads from Hampton to the tracks?

OK, the one that leads directly into the camp has always been NMV to my recollection. I recently took a trip down Mannis Pond road and out to lower forge deer club. Took a ride down towards that road and saw the "new" NMV signs in front of me and to the right. The right turn would take me around and up next to the tracks putting them on my left and I'd be headed toward 1/4. My deerstand is back there, guess I'll be walking a bit next year! I found the second set of spikes on the road that leads right just after the little bridge on Hampton Rd. Just befrore the tracks there are 3 puddles next to each other, I found the spikes in the center choice of the 3

Why not set up a permit system like the state does for fishing and hunting. The profits could easily help hire more staff to patrol Wharton and you could effectively block off 1/4 mile with use of concrete barriers instead of the surrounding roads.

2 problems with concrete barriers! 1.The people that are hell bent on destroying that area will just blaze new trails around them! Which would make the issue worse. 2.Nobody wants to see concrete barriers in the middle of the beautiful forest.
